PAST AND PRESENT

I was born in Vinci on the 15th of April, the same day Leonardo Da Vinci was born there back in 1452. So maybe I was somehow destined to keep the family traditions. My grandparents and parents owned lands and ancient farmhouses houses in the surroundings. Only one remained though, the most beautiful for its exclusive position and for its largeness, VlLLA MONNALISA. For many years it was the place for happy family reunions, birthdays, Christenings, Christmases and new Year’s parties… last year I decided to completely restyle it and open it to my dear guests!

VILLA MONNALISA is a stunning property which includes the old country house, minor buildings and the surrounding vineyards and olive trees that produce an excellent Chianti wine and a savoury EVO. The main stone building dates back to the 15th century, it overlooks directly the castle of Vinci, only a few minutes away from the property. Villa Monnalisa has been newly and completely restructured and now it boasts six panoramic en-suite bedrooms, a large kitchen with the most modern facilities, dining room and living room and two large open areas in front of the villa and at the back to dine “al fresco” in almost every season of the year at any time! The large swimming pool is set among the olive trees and offers you the incredible experience of enjoying the view of the tower of Vinci while swimming in the 16 metres long private pool. Free WIFI connection is available on all the property. It is the perfect starting point for touring Florence, Pisa, Siena or the Chianti area and even the famous coastal towns of Versilia. Within a five minute drive our guests can also enjoy a nice nine hole golf course, while in 20 minutes you can reach the famous Montecatini Golf Club.
